Gruppo Tematico di Chimica per le Energie Rinnovabili of the SOCIETÀ CHIMICA ITALIANA – ENERCHEM 3rd CONGRESS, PALERMO, 23-25 February 2027
The Società Chimica Italiana is pleased to announce ENERCHEM 3 which will take place in Palermo from 23rdto 25th February 2027 with the support of CNR-Institute for the Study of Nanostructured Materials (ISMN).
ENERCHEM 3 will feature plenary and keynote lectures delivered by leading national and international experts from both academia and industry. The program will also include oral and poster presentations by early-career researchers, whose active participation will be highly encouraged and supported.
The congress will address the major fields of chemistry related to renewable, clean, and sustainable energy, with particular focus on emerging topics such as:
Photovoltaics and solar cells
Materials for fuel cells and electrolyzers
Thermal and electrochemical energy storage
CO2 reduction, H2, NH3 and e-fuels production
Sustainability and recycling processes
By encouraging interaction between academia and industry and supporting the participation of early-career researchers, the congress seeks to stimulate innovation, strengthen collaborative networks, and drive progress in sustainable chemical processes.
