The conference is organized by the Intense Laser Irradiation Laboratory (ILIL) team of CNR-INO.
ILIL is a leading European facility dedicated to the study of ultra‑intense, ultrafast laser–matter interaction. Established around 2000 and continuously upgraded through major national and international projects, ILIL combines advanced high‑power laser systems with cutting‑edge diagnostics to explore fundamental plasma physics and develop innovative applications.
Its research spans laser‑driven particle acceleration, high‑energy radiation sources, and inertial fusion, with applications ranging from materials science to advanced medical therapies. Through strong participation in major infrastructures such as ELI, EuPRAXIA, and Laserlab‑Europe, ILIL plays a key role in the international landscape of extreme‑light science
