Descrizione
Intensifying Anthropocene conditions have profound implications for international legal and governance practice. Geographic and time-scale implications of Earth system disruptions, among other attributes, make these challenges unique and specific for international governance. They require new levels of ingenuity and innovation, and rely heavily on evolving Earth system science, proposed frameworks (e.g., Planetary Boundaries) and further cross-disciplinary research and practical cooperation.
