DESCRIPTION:7th HISTORIC MORTARS CONFERENCEIn keeping with the legacy of t
 he past six editions\, the 7th Historic Mortars Conference (HMC 2025) will
  focus on research concerning technology and characterization of historic 
 mortars\, conservation and restoration issues in historic masonry structur
 es and archaeological sites\, design of repair materials (mortars\, render
 s\, plasters and grouts)\, and test methods for historic and repair mortar
 s.Furthermore\, a special session will be dedicated to the topic of herita
 ge-inspired building materials for sustainable architecture\, from basic a
 rchaeometric research to the development and application of novel products
 .HMC 2025 will be open to scientists\, architects\, restorers\, conservato
 rs\, historians\, archaeologists\, heritage professionals\, companies and 
 cultural stakeholders. It will constitute a gateway of interaction between
  the academic and professional worlds involved in the fields of study of h
 istoric mortars and formulation\, application and testing of restoration m
 aterials for built heritage\, linking advanced scientific research to stat
 e-of-the-art industrial production and development.HMC 2025 is jointly org
 anized by the University of Padova (Unipd)\, the Politecnico di Milano (Po
 limi)\, the Inst. of Condensed Matter Chemistry and Technologies for Energ
 y of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-ICMATE)\, and the Associa
 zione Italiana di Archeometria (AIAr)\, and co-sponsored by the Internatio
 nal Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials\, Systems
