The day starts with a Welcome by dr Giuseppe Colpani, CNR Director General and an Opening address by Minister dr Igor Papič, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia. 

A brief overview on cooperation between the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS) and the National Research Council (CNR) with the signing of the Cooperation Program between dr Giuseppe Colpani, CNR Director General and prof. dr Boštjan Zalar, IJS Director will follow.  

The morning will proceed with a Section on Science with presentation of five joint research projects based on the Bilateral Agreement between IJS and CNR followed by the Session Innovations with initiatives presentations. The afternoon is dedicated to meetings between Slovenian and Italian companies and researchers. 

In the evening, a reception organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Italy and The Slovenian Tourist Board (STO) will be offer.
