The European Conference on Plasma Diagnostics (ECPD) is an event taking place every two years aiming at bringing together scientists & engineers working on plasma diagnostics for magnetic confinement fusion, inertial confinement fusion, beam plasmas, low-temperature and industrial plasmas as well as space and astrophysical plasmas.
The aim of the conference is to foster the exchange of expertise and innovative ideas on plasma diagnostics across different fields of plasma physics, based on the belief that this interdisciplinary approach can stimulate new insights and create experimental opportunities for all areas of research.
The ECPD conference has seen steady growth in attendance in last years, reaching more than 220 participants at its most recent 6th edition in Prague.
The 7th edition of the Conference will be organised by the Intense Laser Irradiation Laboratory (ILIL) group from INO-CNR, and will be held in Pisa, Italy.
