As part of the activities of  the "Laboratory Training Platform"  within the Training Program of I-PHOQS project, we welcome you  to join this workshop session on "High Power Laser Diagnostics and Data Analysis" at National Institute of Optics CNR-INO in Pisa.  In this 3-days event you will be trained in the usage  and applications of the most commonly employed diagnostic techniques  in a high power laser lab. 

The workshop is open to all Ph.D students; due to the limited number of positions I-PHOQS Ph.D fellows will be priotitized.

 Deadline for subscription is  April, 10th.

        In this introductory lecture a brief overview of the fundamental aspects concerning ultra Intense laser will be given.

        Ultrashort laser pulse temporal duration measurements 30m

        The temporal duration of an ultrashort laser pulse is one of the fundamental parameters that need to be measured. This operation is routinely performed during everyday laser status checks. In this lecture you will learn the working principle of single-shot autocorrelators and how these are used to retrieve information about laser pulse duration. You will also be introduced to the hands-on session scheduled for the 15th of may.
